Had the Sports Plate! It was huge and was more than enough to feed three of us. Definitely recommend it.

I read a lot about this place and we finally got there. The wait was very long, 40 minutes from order to get the food. But the food tasted unique and special. The goat platter is very good.

Excellent Somalian restaurant in the South Bay. Probably the only one in the area and it is definitely worth checking out. Recommend to get the Sombosas as a side and anything goat or beef as a starter. Worth the check!

My son and I came here for the first time and ordered the Sports Platter and shared it. It was delicious and plenty. The portion was big enough for at least another person. The food is very flavorful. The service is extremely friendly and my son got to try the Sambosa and loved it. We will definitely return!!

Delicious food. Enjoyed the fried goat. Very tender and tasty. The basmati rice is a must try. Will definitely go back.

Based on my takeout order on 3/29/20The 5 stars is for their delicious meat sambusa. It's triangular shape like indian samosa, but the filling and the crust are different level of taste and texture! The green spicy sauce is excellent(I'm crazy for it). Each sambusa is under 2$. I ordered 10 PC's for take out, wished I've ordered more and freeze them for later. Would recommend Somali sambusa if you like spicy food. Note: The phone # on Google map isn't working. I went in and ordered for takeout 10min later.Update 4/18/20 as of today sambusa =2$/pc

Coworker took us here and the food is really good! I got the Beef Suqaar with rice and it hit the spot. Despite being sick I was able to enjoy the rich flavor and spices.

Pretty good food, first time trying Somali food. Laid back ambiance. I'm African, and loved seeing the mixture of people in there, it warms my heart. Good service. The ginger tea was way too sweet however.

Very reasonable price for the food portions. I always get their fish wrap. So delicious!!! They also serve free strong hot tea (which is not your usual watered- down tea. It has ginger flavor) Friendly, fast, efficient service. Oh, don't forget to ask if they have baklava for dessert! Happy to have found this gem!

Great tasting Somalian food. Decent price. My faves are the grilled fish, jubba goat and beef. The wraps and sambusas are good too. You get free tea with your food. The table is sweet but interestingly tasty.

Worth the wait. We waited some time for our food and we were hungry but I guess that means they make it fresh. We got the sports plate with chicken and beef and I was worried that it would be covered in sauce but it was actually not but still very flavorful. the salad had too much dressing though so I'm going to say have it on the side. They ran out of Injera so we got the chapatti instead- it was alright, the rice was food though. The sports plate was really big- probably could feed four instead of two.

What a great little eating place! It is family run, very authentic Somali food. The menu are not extensive but it is the goat and fish that we came for anyway. The goat was very delicious, flavourful, tender, juicy, not overdone but not undercook either, just perfect texture and perfect taste. Perhaps we would like it a touch more spicy because we are Malaysian and are used to very spicy food, but it is probably just nice for most clients! The fish was also very tasty still juicy inside but just maybe slightly more charred than we would like.

The Jubba Fish Wrap is actually one of the best fish dishes I've eaten. They get the mix of spices, fish, and texture of the wrap just right. 10/10 would recommend.

Very nice restaurant, the samosa quality was really good honestly, I thought no one can match the samosa quality like Karachi, but I was totally wrong. Great food as well. I will recommend this halal food restaurant to everyone live in bay area and silicone valley . Far batter than any indo Pak restaurant.

What a great place! Lots of food for a reasonable albeit somewhat expensive price. Very tasty, spicy but not hot with a side cup of green sauce that could burn your mouth out. Lovely people that run the place are very helpful and will explain whatever you need if you have questions. Be prepared to wait because they prepare everything fresh and sometimes that can take a while. Some say it's Ethiopian, some say Somali. I say good!

Excellent food! I don’t know what the other review is talking about but my food wasn’t greasy and the dining area was very clean! I discovered this restaurant through Check Please!, and since then, I’ve gone twice with friends. Both times culminated in rave reviews from said friends, and a promise to come back here. During the most recent trip to this restaurant, a friend and I shared the Chicken Sports Plate with rice and pasta. It was absolutely amazing. The chicken and vegetables were spiced well. Since the juices & oils coated the pasta underneath, it elevated normal spaghetti into something way more flavorful and tasty. I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention how good the tea is here. It’s spicy, sweet, rich, and truly mind-blowing. In fact, half the reason we’ve all decided to come back here is to drink the tea once more. All in all, amazing restaurant and you’d be a fool to look over this hidden gem!

Delicious food! We ordered at 12:15 and waited till 1:15 for our food but since it wasn’t a busy day, we had fun. The food is really good. We tried the sports plate and a lamb plate. Both superb and the meat quantity is really good. Sports plate is enough for 3 people if you are light eaters. It’s situated in an unassuming neighborhood and the atmosphere is relaxed. I guess, don’t go if you are in a hurry.

Insanely delicious Somali food. I did not know what to expect, but was blown out of the water by the flavors, hospitality and portion sizes. Highly recommend to anyone in the Bay area (and would drive pretty far for it!)

I've never been to an East African restaurant before Jubba. And now I don't think I'll ever go to another one. This place is so yummy. First time, spouse and I shared the sports platter. Flavors were awesome. Since then, I've ordered the chicken wrap each time. I cannot get enough of the chibati bread. It's the best bread I've ever had. Not quite a tortilla, not quite a flatbread. Just pure deliciousness. I would highly recommend Jubba to anyone wanting to try delicious food.

While I must admit that I've never eaten here before, I did phone in an order, but when I went in to pick it up I noticed that neither of the employees were wearing masks. Imagine...not wearing masks in the midst of a global pandemic! I left without any transaction taking place.

I think they prepare black tea with cardamom, clove, cinnamon, peppercorn and dry ginger.
